The new territory in the DLC comprises the titular beach town, an amusement park, and a vast expanse of adjacent swampland and towns. Unlike previous DLC packs, the player can travel to and from Point Lookout at any time, even before completing the pack’s unique new objectives. Instead, it has been neglected and isolated for decades. In the Fallout universe, the town of Point Lookout is unique in that it has not been directly damaged by bombs or harmed by later combat. Point Lookout is the fourth downloadable extra for Fallout 3, transporting the player to the misty swampland along Maryland’s coast. ![]()
